Power Automate for desktop – September 2022 update
We are happy to announce that the September 2022 update of Power Automate for desktop (version 2.24) has been released! You can download the latest release here. New features and updates have been added, as described below.
Improved performance and design of the recorder
The recorder has been redesigned, so that its performance is now improved, and its context menus are now accessible:
In addition, some new functionalities have been added therein:
- For certain actions like ‘Set dropdown list value’, a dedicated context menu appears to easily pick one of the available options.
- Interaction with custom elements such as Date pickers and Color pickers is now enabled.
- The recorder’s context menu, opened with right clicking on an element, is enhanced with more options, related to the type of the UI element.
- When capturing an element, a loading icon appears until the proper action is generated.
A new option to create desktop shortcuts for desktop flows has been introduced
The option ‘Create desktop shortcut’ is now available for desktop flows in the console for premium users, allowing them to run a flow via a shortcut from their desktop without having to open the console.
