2019 Release Wave 2 Plan and May Updates for Microsoft Flow

Today we are announcing the availability of the 2019 Release Wave 2 Plan, which covers the main investments coming in October. Additionally, in the past month we’ve made a number of improvements to Flow: build your flows inside of Visio, there are now triggers available in the Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations connector, and there are many improvements in Approvals. Finally, there were thirteen new connectors in May!

Additionally, we are improving Apply to each to be able to process up to 100,000 items in a single flow run and up to 50 items in parallel.

Second, there is a new connector – Infobip – a service that enables enterprise grade communication. Finally, you can now append to string variables as an action, making it easier to accumulate information in loops, for example.

You will be able to pass an array object as input variable from an API flow to a UI flow, and then create a loop within UI flow script to perform repetitive action within your UI automation.

Recording your travel mileage is a crucial and currently a manual process to get travel reimbursement, however, now thanks to Flow and the Bing Maps connector we can automate this process as well. There are two Flows, one is for departures and the second for arrival but both of them update the single row in the Excel spreadsheet. The Flow is smart enough to see which was the last entry submitted by the user that only has the departure information and is pending arrival.
