Upcoming changes to the Gmail connector

Starting May 1, 2020 we’ll be rolling out changes that will potentially impact your flows that use the Gmail connector due to policy changes by Google. Under this policy, the Gmail connector, when used with a Gmail consumer account, can only be used with a limited set of Google-approved services. We have rolled out an option to use your own Google application for personal or internal use in your enterprise in case your flows are impacted.

15 new connectors and use Azure AD with the SQL Server connector

In February we passed 300 connectors — including the new SAP ERP connector. Since then, we’ve added 15 new connectors from many different partners. Moreover, you can use Azure AD authentication for Azure SQL Databases — providing significant security benefits for Power Automate authors and users. This feature enables each user to connect to a SQL Azure database with their own credentials.

AI Builder 2020 Wave 1 updates

We are excited to announce the April 2020 Wave 1 update for AI Builder is now available. This update includes six AI Builder preview model types that are becoming generally available, key feature updates to existing models like forms understanding and text recognition, and new models for entity extraction and numeric prediction. There are also a dozen new AI Builder templates to help you get started with AI Builder in Power Automate.
