Power Automate Desktop February 2021 update
We are happy to announce that the February 2021 update of Power Automate Desktop has been released! New features and updates have been added, as described below.
The ‘Run from here’ functionality is now available in the flow designer
The ‘Run from here’ functionality has been added as an option, in the context menu of right-clicking on an action in the flow designer, allowing you to begin the flow run from an eligible point in the middle of the script.
Various actions have been improved to be configured more intuitively
The following action configuration improvements have taken place:
- The ‘Send keys’ action now includes a list of predetermined special keys and modifiers for the user’s convenience.
- Window related actions like ‘Focus window’ and ‘Wait for window’ now include a mechanism to capture a window and automatically populate the title and class fields, when the respective mode is selected.
- The ‘Go to’ action now returns the list of labels available in the subflow where it is used.
Existing variables can now be selected and used as produced variables
Existing variable names are now available to be selected from a list and used as produced variables in actions, so that you don’t have to manually type the name from scratch.
