Breakout sessions

B8052 Empowering businesses with the Microsoft Business Application Platform tier of PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, and CDS

Wednesday 5/10, 2-3pm. In today's fast-paced world it is important for business to be able to adapt and change at a rapid pace. With the Microsoft Business Application Platform, citizen developers and professional developers alike gain new ways of working and adapting more productively. Microsoft PowerApps makes it easy to build rich applications without writing code. Microsoft Flow allows citizen integrators to quickly automate workflows. The Common Data Service (CDS) unites information from across Microsoft Dynamics, Office, and beyond in a common model and easy extensibility point. All are easily extended with building blocks based on Microsoft Azure. In this session, get hands on with the Business Application Platform and see how developers are using it to dramatically increase their productivity and reach more users.

B8120 Innovate and get your apps in front of 100 million business users with AppSource, PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, and the Common Data Service

Wednesday 5/10, 5-6pm. Delivering business applications quickly is not easy when utilizing a number of different frameworks, hosting options, and complex integrations between systems. Leveraging serverless technologies (Azure Functions and Logic Apps) can provide the building blocks for APIs to connect to custom backends, services, or a Common Data Model (Common Data Service) that stores data across many applications. Leverage these APIs to deeply integrate with PowerApps or Microsoft Flow and extend the data that is most critical to business users with apps that are quickly built, managed, and distributed.

B8079 Slice, dice, and route your SharePoint documents with Microsoft Flow, Azure Logic Apps, and Microsoft PowerApps

Friday 5/12, 9-10am. Developers can build modern business process applications with Microsoft Flow and PowerApps and extend them with Azure Functions to fully customize how content flows within their organization.
